The ‘keynote’ speaker, Mr. Stockton Whitten, Brevard County Manager, sets the stage for a robust community dialogue. Mr. Whitten’s remarks provide an overview of the “state of the county” followed by a conversation with business and industry leaders. Community leaders will react to comments and questions from moderator Matt Reed, Public Interest Editor, FLORIDA TODAY Communications; community leadership conversationalists are Dr. Anthony Catanese, Florida Institute of Technology; Janet Petro, NASA; Kim Rezanka, Dean Mead Law Firm; and Peter Richards, Gulftainer Group.

The Leadership Brevard Class of 2016 met on Thursday, September 17th for their opening session. Presenters included Mr. Mario Busacca, KeyStone Strategies; Ms. Linda Cobb, The Coaching Company, Inc.; Mr. Jacob V. Stuart, Central Florida Partnership; and Mr. Stockton Whitten, Brevard County Manager. |

The Leadership Brevard Class of 2016 will complete eight Leadership Action Projects (LAPs) as teams. LAPs are an integral component of the Leadership Brevard program curriculum and bring together teams of Leadership Brevard participants with other community leaders. These projects are designed to be a leadership learning experience for the participants and a meaningful benefit to the community organization. |
